Join Us on March 2!

The United States Senate Youth Alumni Association is retooling our annual Alumni Weekend events to provide a single, memorable day of experiences for alumni. On Saturday, March 2, 2019, join us at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington for our annual planning meeting, career mentoring tables, and Reception and Dinner, where we will honor former Senator Tom Daschle and USSYAA Executive Director Michael Sundermeyer (MO 1969) for their service.

The day starts out with our annual Planning Meeting at noon, as we explore ways to improve the services the Alumni Association can offer to its members through a series of small-group discussions and large-group presentations. You are then invited to meet the incoming 2019 delegates to discuss their career ambitions and share your experiences.

Beginning at 6:30pm, our annual Reception and Dinner will bring alumni together to honor former Senator Tom Daschle with the Rosalie Wynn Hearst Distinguished Public Service Award, which recognizes exemplary service to the nation, and Michael Sundermeyer with the James T. Molloy Alumni Service Award, which recognizes significant contributions to the Senate Youth Program and the Alumni Association.

Registration for the annual meeting and mentoring tables is free of charge. Tickets for the annual dinner, which includes an open-bar reception and a wonderful dinner at the Mayflower Hotel, are $65.00 for 2013-2018 alumni, and $95.00 for alumni from 2012 and beyond.

We recognize that the dinner cost can pose a financial burden, especially to younger alumni. To that end, we invite alumni of all eras to sponsor a young alum's dinner ticket using the registration form above. Sponsored dinners will be matched to young alumni who complete a special request form prior to February 3, 2019. Sponsored alumni will be notified of their options via e-mail before February 8, 2019. Please visit our Google sign-up form to submit a sponsorship request.

We hope you will join us on March 2!
